East Hampton, Celebrity Playground.
East Hampton is the heart of the Hamptons, is called the Clelebrity´s Playground beacause the most wealthy people from New York City and famous celebrities and millionaries own homes in the area. The Hamptons are located 80 miles east of Manhattan, NYC. Summer is the season where the action takes place in East Hampton, the Main Beach located in this village is consistently ranked in America´s top 10 beaches, although many beaches ahs bathroom falicities and lockers, this beach is the only with a pavillion with some restaurants and facilities. East Hampton beaches has white sand and clear water and are relatively accessible. There are other beaches in the Hamptons, Georgica is another great beach but no so accesible for everybody, because you´ll need a resident parking sticker to get in there, any way this beach is very popular with surfers and also a great spot to take a sunbath. There are 3 lifeguard protected beaches, Main Beach, Georgica beach and Two Mile Hollow beach. There are some things to do in the Hamptons, the beach is the main attraction there, but you can also have a stroll in one of the villages of the Hamptons, visit the Galleries or go to a wine-tasting event which has become very popular in The Hamptons these days.
