Sydney, The Harbour City in Australia. The cosmopolitan city of Sydney features 37 beaches that are all located within 30 minutes of the Sydney CBD, Sydney is paradise for beach lovers. Beach life is part of the Sydney way of life, Sydney´s main beaches are: Palm Beach, Whale Beach, Avalon, Bilgola, Newport, Bungan, Mona Vale, Warriewood, Turimetta, Narrabeen, Collaroy, Dee Why, North Curl Curl, Curl Curl, Freshwater, Queenscliff, North Steyne and Manly. Sydney's famous Bondi Beach, Bronte, Coogee and Cronulla beaches are located on the south side of the harbour.
Sydney is well known for its beaches. Sydney's beaches are either ocean facing, such as the internationally renowned Bondi Beach, or harbour beaches, such as Balmoral Beach.
Although Sydney is famous for its surfing beaches, New South Wales also has beaches along the harbour foreshores that don't have any surf including Redleaf, Nielsen Park, Parsley Bay and Camp Cove. Topless sunbathing is common at all Sydney beaches.For surfing beaches, there's world-famous Bondi Beach. Bondi's golden sand beach is home of Campbell Parade, a stretch of cafes, bars and boutiques which is very popular and well packed with tourists.
